“Vancouver has always had a special place in its heart for rock ‘n roll, and few bands have left a mark as deep as Bachman-Turner Overdrive,” says Vancouver city Mayor Ken Sim. “Declaring August 20th as ‘BTO Day’ is our way of celebrating not just their music, but the spirit and energy Randy and the band have brought to our city for decades.”
